An Eventful Stay at Dorisol Buganvilla Studio Hotel: A Story of Confusion and Challenges
Staying at the Dorisol Buganvilia Studio Hotel in Funchal during our trip to Madeira was quite the experience. The hotel, though rated three stars, offered plenty of space for our group. With two rooms to split us up, I bunked with Blue and Toby, while JJ, JD, Zack, and Tom shared the other room.
Walking into the hotel, I couldn't help but notice its old-fashioned charm. It had a nostalgic feel to it, like stepping back in time. But what really made our stay memorable was the atmosphere during the football World Cup. Everywhere you turned, there was excitement and anticipation in the air, with fans from all over the world coming together to watch the games.
Despite the hotel's age, it provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, with enough space for all of us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the island. And while the decor may have been a bit dated, it added to the hotel's charm and character.
But what really stood out to me was the sense of camaraderie among our group. Whether we were cheering on our favorite teams in the hotel bar or lounging by the pool, we were always surrounded by friends and laughter. And even though the hotel may not have been the fanciest, it was the perfect home base for our Madeira adventure.
